August Prize

The August Prize (Swedish: Augustpriset) is a Swedish literary prize that has been given out since 1989 by the Swedish Publishers' Association. The prize is given in the categories Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Children's and Youth Literature. The prize is named after the writer August Strindberg.[1] Winners include Lars Ahlin, Sven Delblanc, Peter Englund, Dick Harrison, Henning Mankell, Sven Nordqvist, Peter Pohl.
